FixThe6 and 100 for the Homies
The Community Outreach and Social Committee partnered with FixThe6 in a 100 for the Homies charity event. Students gathered at The Loose Moose to celebrate a busy week and watched the Toronto Raptors claim their victory against the Portland Trailblazers. After the game they proceeded to the Air Canada Centre where they collected used tickets from happy fans. These tickets were distributed to homeless shelters around Toronto the next day where they were redeemed for slices of pizza!
We set a record for the second highest number of tickets (1780 slices of pizza) ever raised!
Thanks to everyone who came out and helped with this event.
