Career Development Association

DESCRIPTION

The MBP Career Development Association (CDA) is a student-led initiative that provides MBP graduate students with resources to aid in the transition from graduate school to employment. We connect current students with alumni through seminars, panel sessions, workshops, and alumni receptions.

Key initiatives:

Our main initiatives for the 2023-2024 year are:

  • Alumni Networking Reception: Where current MBP students connect with and learn from accomplished MBP alumni

  • Career Seminars: Showcasing a diverse array of both academic and non-academic career paths

  • Professional Workshops: Workshops on essential skills, such as resume building, interview preparation, effective job search strategies, and professional headshots

  • Coffee Chat Directory: Database of MBP alumni open to coffee chats, where current students can ask more personalized questions one-on-one

  • Resource Library: Information and links to job boards, industry reports and career development materials
