Welcome to the MBP Eco Team!  The MBP Eco Team is a committee affiliated with MBPGSA. The goal of this committee to promote sustainability and reduce ecological footprints in scientific research inside and outside the lab, from small steps such as fun sustainable activities! New members are always welcome, please contact us at mbpecoteam@gmail.com

Key Initiatives

We aim to organize various events ranging from expert talks on important environmental issues to tutorial sessions on more sustainable living to volunteering emphasizing more active community involvement. We encourage participation in our events through the attribution of MBP merit Badges for positive environmental action.

Examples of key projects in progress are:

• Nature walks in Toronto

• Visit local farms/farmer’s markets

• Arts & Crafts with recycled materials

• Earth Day photo contest
